 ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL  - HANOI CITY TOUR - TRAIN TO SAPA (L; D)

AM: Driver & guide pick up at the airport with your flight. We will take 45 minutes to drive to the main attractions in Hanoi. The first destination we are going to visit Ho Chi Minh historical Complex; visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his residence relics 50 years ago to understand why Vietnamese people worship him and the human beings respect him: the nationalist! The journey would bring you to the One Pillar pagoda - the unique 1000 years old pagoda in the area. The visit will continue to the Temple of Literature, which is known the place worshiping Confuses and as the first university in our country 1000 years ago. Enjoy the special Vietnamese lunch at one of the best local Vietnamese food restaurant in Hanoi

PM: Visit Ngoc Son (Jade) temple & Restored Sword Lake. Shopping in Hang Gai Street, Hang Dau Street; Have a Water puppet show in Thang Long water puppet theater and have dinner in the local restaurant. After the dinner, depart for the train to Sapa. Overnight on the train to Sapa.

DAY 2: SAPA – Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI – TA VAN - SAPA (B; L; D)

DAY 3: CAT CAT & SIN CHAI - LAO CAI - TRAIN TO HANOI (B; L; D)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will take a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way a Car to return to Sapa. Free time in the afternoon to do shopping in local market. Guide's goodbye.

4.00 pm: Private transfer to Lao Cai Station. Have dinner in the local restaurant in Lao Cai. Get to the train station for overnight back to Hanoi.

DAY 4: HANOI - HALONG BAY CRUISE TOUR (B; L; D)

The train arrives at Hanoi in the early morning, VTT staff will pick you up, and escort you back to the hotel in Hanoi. Have sometimes to relax before breakfast at the hotel.

8.00 am: Shuttle Bus pick up at your hotel in Hanoi for the cruise. Today, we will pass over 100 miles to reach to Halong city with countryside scenery on the side. Upon your arrival to Halong Cruise Harbor, get welcomed and check in the cruise. Have lunch on the cruise and follow the cruise itinerary and activities for the day. (Almost all the cruise are going to see the same thing. Their only difference is quality of services provided).

DAY 5: HALONG BAY CRUISE - HANOI FOOD TOUR (B; L; D)

AM: Follow your cruise itinerary. Have breakfast and Lunch on the cruise (Some cruises replace with Brunch). Check out the cruise at noon time and get back to the shuttle bus to get back to Hanoi. Check in the hotel and have time to rest in the hotel in Hanoi.

6.00 PM: Start to visit the city Old Quarter and a special Hanoi Food tour. 

The main stops are at the most Only-One-Dish-famous shops or restaurants owned by families who have been making certain famous traditional dishes in Hanoi for years. These famous dishes of Hanoi culinary experience will come one after the other during the walking tour in this Hanoi National Heritage area.
