7:30 am: Our guide and driver pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and have a drive of 1,5 - 2 hours to Vung Tau before starting your day trip to discover Vung Tau City
. Visit the Jesus Christ Statue. Walking up the 847 stairs and meeting the 32 meter-tall (105 feet) Statue of Jesus, considered one of the tallest statues of Jesus Christ in Asia. Its outstretched arms span a little over 18.4 meters. Originally started in 1972, but the construction was only completed in 1993. The adventurous travelers are welcome to climb up to the top of inside Christ arms and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Vung Tau city (Interesting fact: The statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil is only 30 meter-tall.).
10:30 AM Assembling at the foot of the mountain then, proceeding for visiting Nghinh Phong cape, it is literally translated as Cape of Welcoming Breeze. The cape is the cliff of Vung Tau and has unobstructed views of Vung Tau City as well as the East Sea.
12:00 ~ 12:30 Noon Have lunch at a restaurant that serves authentic Vietnamese dishes.
After lunch, Visit the special Goddess of Mercy Pagoda on the side of Nui Lon - Large Mountain and commands a beautiful view of the bay lined with many fishing boats. A huge white statue of Buddha is the main attraction of this temple. There is also a statue of a reclining Buddha as well as many smaller statues of Buddha and the Goddess of Mercy.
If the tide permits, visit the Back Beach and have a look at a special Hon Ba temple in the middle of the ocean that can only be reached at low tide via a walking route. Visit the oldest Lighthouse where you can get a good view of the city.
Have time visiting the ancient White Palace which is the building built by the French Governor since 19th century.
~18:00 PM: Finish the tour at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. End of the trip.
