    Mua Cave is a small cave on the mountain of Tam Coc area, this cave is not terribly impressive, but there are panoramic views from the peak above. A stone staircase beside the cave entrance zigzags through the karst (beware the goat droppings) and it’s almost 500 steps to a simple altar to Quan Am (the Goddess of Mercy). Look west for the Ngo Dong River winding through Tam Coc.

    The Trang An is a scenic area near Ninh Bình, Vietnam renowned for its boat cave tours within a three-hour excursion by small boat along the lake, beginning at the tourist center of Van Lam and proceeding through a scenic landscape dominated by caves and karst towers. It is recognized as World heritage in 2014.

    ITINERARY

    Trang An - Mua Cave day tour

    8.00 AM: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi, depart for Ninh Binh Tour towards to the South of Hanoi, it takes about 2,5 hours to get there(100 km).

    10.30 AM: Arrive in Mua Cave, trek up to the top of the area to have a nice view of the Tam Coc area. Have lunch in the local restaurant.

    After lunch, Drive to Trang An with a 20 minutes drive. Take an exciting boat ride in Trang An grottoes(World heritage site in 2014) that we will enjoy the spectacular scenery while gliding along the river among and ranges of limestone mountains peaking up towers over with the system of caves (3 hrs).

    16.00: Return to Hanoi

    * STANDARD GROUP TOUR ITINERARY FOR BAI DINH PAGODA - TRANG AN 

    8:00 - 8:30: Shuttle bus goes around to pick up at Old Quarter hotels to depart for Ninh Binh province (100km) for our day tour of Bai Dinh pagoda & Trang An ecosystem. We spend time to visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters height, 100 tons weight.

    Have lunch at local restaurant with some local special dishes such as Goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel.

    Continue to visit Trang An Scenic Landscape complex nearby which recently recognized as an UNESCO World natural heritage, get on a rowing boat (small sampan) traveling along the small river with scenic mountain and green fields landscape. Boat takes you to visit cave complex of Trang An: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, the scenery of mountain and rivers – Halong on land of Ninh Binh.

    Late afternoon, drive back to your hotel in Hanoi. End this tour of Trang An – Bai Dinh Pagoda around 19.30.
