8.30 AM: Private Guide and driver pick you up from hotel. Our first place to visit is the Re-Unification Palace, the former palace of President of Vietnam Southern Government. Today this building is a museum and venue for official receptions. Visit the private rooms of the president, the “War Room” from where the South Vietnamese forces were controlled, and, most poignantly, the room where the North Vietnamese army finally took control in 1975.
Following the journey, the charming Post Office and the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - as known as the city’s major landmarks would come to our sight. The visit continue to the War Remains Museum, where you can learn a lot about the Vietnam War. Lunch with Vietnamese delicacies at a fine restaurant in Saigon.
PM: Continue the journey to visit Jade Emperor Temple, one of the oldest Chinese temples in Saigon. Have free time wandering around Ben Thanh market, where all kind of goods are offered and practice bargaining technique with the local guide and street vendors. Trip ends at your hotel in Saigon.
